SGPN Programs

SGPN is funded primarily through the Department of Health and Ageing to provide clinical and community health programs in the south east.

Allied health workers are employed through these programs offering a range of services and include counselling, dietetic advice, footcare, and diabetes education. Some of these services are offered throughout the whole region, while others have been funded in one particular region. Funding criteria and recruitment constraints can also dictate where workers are placed.

Some programs such as Healthy for Life (an Aboriginal health program) or our youth health program in Cooma take on a community development and education role in addition to providing clinical services.

Use the links on this page to find out about our programs, where they operate and how to refer to them, or use the Find A Practitioner search – SGPN workers are identified by our logo.
